Disclosure.

iaindavis[.]com is not “monetised” in any way. We do not sell anything (see exception below) and have no commercial conflicts of interest. Neither opinions expressed nor information shared is influenced by any financial inducement whatsoever.

iaindavis[.]com does accept donations from those who value our work and wish to voluntarily gift a donation to the website owners (please see Donations Policy). However, nothing (see exception below) on the website is created for the purpose of financial gain. Voluntary gifted donations are gratefully received and are made entirely at the discretion of the gifting donor. Visitors to iaindavis[.]com have free and open access to all areas of the website and all offered resources, there are no pay walls nor affiliate links (see exception below). It is the intention of the website owners to steadfastly maintain completely free access to the website for all. No advantage or additional content is offered to voluntary gifting donors. iaindavis[.]com actively defends its absolute financial independence.

Exception: For those who wish to purchase a hard copy of iaindavis[.]com publications this is only possible via the Amazon website. Unfortunately this is currently the only viable way to offer print copies to those who want one. iaindavis[.]com does receive a very small payment from the sale of hard copies (and Kindle editions) from Amazon. However, the same books are freely available to all subscribers in .pdf form and iaindavis[.]com actively encourages all website visitors to avail themselves of the free copies. iaindavis[.]com does not, and will not, promote the sale of books from global corporations and places no value on the tiny amount recouped from Amazon’s sales.

iaindavis[.]com has made this disclosure in order to comply with the FTC’s policy that demands transparency about any and all affiliate relationships that we may have on this website. We do not currently have any affiliate links on the website. This situation may have to change in the future.

This means therefore that you should assume that any and all links on this website are affiliate links. If you click on these links and go visit the resulting website, a cookie will be set in your web browser that will cause us to receive a commission in the event that you subsequently purchase a product on the resulting website.

This is a legitimate way to monetize and pay for the operation of websites. While we do not currently use this method, should we do so in the future, we will gladly reveal our affiliate relationships to you and will maintain transparent, ethical conduct with valued partners and vendors.

Furthermore we fully disclose that hyperlinks on this website are, in most cases, shortened, and in some cases cloaked to hide long ugly links for functionality and tracking purposes. This is done primarily for aesthetic reasons. Link tracking, shortening and cloaking is a very common practice on all types of websites.

We have nothing to hide and, should we use affiliate links in the future, will maintain a transparent relationship with the vendors, products and services that we may recommend on this website.

You should also know that we do not receive physical products or cash in exchange for any reviews or posts you find on this website. No one has paid us to produce reviews or posts. However you should also know, while we currently have no affiliate relationships at all, it is possible that we may in the future. At such time our reviews and posts could be influenced by our affiliate relationships and this may create a conflict of interest. However, while we do not believe a conflict of interest will ever exist, we always recommend that you consider the affiliate relationships and link techniques we have described.

In the event that we choose to operate an affiliate website in the future, at that point we would like you to buy the service or products we write about and we would be influenced by that fact. However we would avoid conflict by only reviewing or posting about products and services we trust. Regardless of any future affiliate relationship we strive to always give our honest opinions, report findings, expressed beliefs, or relayed experiences on topics or products we write about and promote.

iaindavis[.]com does not allow other vendors to place advertising on our site in the form of banners, widgets, and hyperlinks.
